Including nudity isn’t a necessity in order to walk away with stunning images. If you have decided that nudity is within your comfort level and you want to include some classy nude photos, or if you’re just wondering what shooting nude would be like, this info should help.
Classy nude photos
When people first think of nude photos they think more along the lines of erotic photos. When we include nudity in any of our sessions we make sure to keep things classy. We know that what we consider to be erotic photos, could be really tame to some people. On the same note, we understand that what we consider classy nude photos could be considered erotic photos to some. It’s all about your perspective. Having nude photos taken can honestly be a huge confidence boost once you see your final images.
Protecting Your Privacy
Whether it’s a nude session or not, keeping your photos safe is our biggest priority. We take your privacy very seriously and take proper steps to be sure that your photos only end up where you want them to end up. We only work with album companies who specialize and understand the intimate nature of boudoir photography. When it comes to sharing your images we only share your images if you give us written permission to do so. We have policies in place to ensure you can worry less about the safety of your photos. If you are considering the idea of having a few nude photos taken during your session, but have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Are you uncomfortable, or are you just nervous?
There is a difference between being uncomfortable and being nervous about taking nude photos. For instance, we were 100% comfortable when our doctor told us we were having twin girls, but we were also very concerned and nervous about how we would handle caring for and raising two babies at once. So in that same train of thought, you may be comfortable with having nude photos taken, and at the same time be concerned or nervous about how the process will work. Like we mentioned earlier, we’re boudoir photography pros and will gladly answer any questions you may have.
Working with the right photographer
Having nude boudoir photos taken for the first time can leave you feeling very vulnerable, which is why it’s so important that you’re comfortable with the photographer who will be taking your photos. We are a husband and wife team and always do our best to take proper steps to be sure you’re 100% comfortable. Have you heard the Parable of the Boiled Frog? We know that most of the time, people use that parable to show how things can get gradually worst, but we actually use the same concept when it comes to your nude boudoir photos. Instead of jumping into the boiling water, we start your session in an oversized sweater and slowly heat up the water by removing pieces of clothing. Before you know it, you’re viewing your photos, amazed at how stunning the nude portion of your boudoir album looks.
Prepping for nude photos
As one of our clients, you will be sent a questionnaire so we can be sure to tailor your boudoir session to what works best for you. A portion of our questionnaire helps us figure out your comfort level. How much or how little do you want to show in your photos? When you show up to shoot we want to be sure we’re all on the same page and know what to expect. If you indicate that you’re comfortable with nudity during your shoot we will all know what to expect. The same goes for if you indicate that nudity is out of your comfort zone. Posing For Nude Photos
Most of our clients come in having no idea how to pose in front of the camera. Honestly, this is usually the biggest reason most people hold off on having their own boudoir photography session. Posing nude can be even more intimidating. We understand that being photographed nude can be nerve-racking. We’ve got you covered though. We’ll help walk you through every single phase of your boudoir experience. Don’t worry, we don’t expect you to know how to pose in front of the camera. It’s our job to make sure you look like you’re a professional model. 😉
