Whatever your reason for wanting a boudoir session, it’s important to make sure that we’re all on the same page. Every single woman we shoot with has different levels of comfort when it comes to how much or how little they wear during their boudoir session.
There are no right or wrong answers when it comes to your comfort level. Almost 80% of the women we shoot with do decide to take a few classy nude photos during their session. That doesn’t mean that you need to get naked in order to walk away with sexy images. We will say that the last thing we want is for you to have any regrets wishing that you would have worked up the courage to show a little more skin. Before your session we will send over a questionnaire asking you what your comfort level is and we will plan your session based on your answers.
Below are the five levels of comfort each of our clients usually considers.
Clothed
We pride ourselves on being able to capture some of the best intimate moments of women wearing normal everyday clothes. Do you have a pair of jeans and a t-shirt? Bring it on. Maybe a button-up or a cocktail dress is more down your alley?
Lingerie
Lingerie is always a fun look to shoot in. Sometimes women bring lingerie as simple as a bra and panties and then other times women want to shoot in lingerie sets that take a little longer for them to put on.
Implied Nudity
The dictionary defines implied as: involved, indicated, or suggested without being directly or explicitly stated; tacitly understood. When we shoot implied nudity, the goal is to suggest that you’re nude without ever showing anything.
Topless
Shooting topless is exactly what it sounds like. We approach shooting topless just like we do the rest of our work. We want every shot to be classy and emotive.
Nude
When people first think of nude photos they think more along the lines of erotic photos. We like to describe the nude photos we take as Classy nude photos. Including nudity isn’t a necessity in order to walk away with stunning images. If you’re wondering what shooting nude would be like this info should help.
